1. What this policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Los Floppers uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, device identifiers) on our website and mobile app, and the choices you have. It is a companion to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly.

Our approach is opt-in, everywhere. Nothing non-essential loads until you make a choice: analytics and advertising are OFF by default for every visitor, worldwide, until you accept. Refusing is as easy as accepting.

2. Consent categories

• Essential. Strictly necessary for the site to work — signing in, keeping your session, and remembering your cookie choice. These are always on and need no consent.
• Analytics. Helps us understand how the product is used so we can improve it. Loads only if you accept. Our primary analytics (Plausible) is cookieless.
• Advertising. Lets our ad partners measure and personalize ads. Loads only if you accept — and is force-disabled when a Global Privacy Control signal is present (see Section 4).

3. Cookies & similar storage we use

The table below lists the cookies and storage that may be set. Analytics and advertising entries are only ever set after you grant the matching consent.

Third-party cookie names and lifetimes are set by the respective providers and may change; consult their own cookie documentation for the authoritative list.

4. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or an extension sends Sec-GPC: 1, we treat it as an opt-out of the “sale/sharing” of your personal information under CCPA/CPRA and applicable US state laws — advertising is force-disabled and no ad code loads, even if you would otherwise have accepted it. Analytics (first-party, not a “sale”) still follows your explicit choice.

5. Changing or withdrawing your consent

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time — withdrawing is as easy as giving. Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page (web) or Settings > Privacy (mobile) to reopen the consent controls. Changes take effect immediately; already-set third-party cookies expire on their normal schedule and no new non-essential code loads.

6. Our record of your choice

To meet our accountability obligations (GDPR Art. 7(1)), we keep a record each time you make a consent choice: which categories you accepted, whether a GPC signal was honoured, the policy version in force, an approximate region/country, and a timestamp. This record exists solely as evidence of consent and is not used to profile or track you. If you delete your account, any record linked to your user ID is anonymized.

7. Changes to this policy

If we materially change our cookie categories or this policy, we bump the consent version — which re-prompts you so your choice always reflects the current terms. For anything else, contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@losfloppers.com.
